Our workshop operates by appointment only, allowing us to give every vehicle the attention it deserves. With bookings often made weeks in advance, we are grateful for the trust our customers continue to place in us.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, we operate on an appointment only basis. To get booked in, please call or text us on 0857594010

What types of vehicles do you work on?

All makes and models of cars, 4x4`s and light commercial vehicles.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Our workshop is generally booked 3–4 weeks ahead, reflecting the trust our customers place in our team.

To avoid delays, we recommend arranging your appointment as early as possible, especially if you are booking in with an NCT/DOE failure.

If your vehicle requires urgent attention, contact us and we'll do everything we can to help.

Do you provide quotations before carrying out work?

Yes. We believe in honest, transparent pricing. Fill out the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. Please add your name, contact mobile number, vehicle full registration number, make and model and as much information as possible regarding repairs/work required and we will get back to you as soon as we can during office hours.

Where is Micks Motors Castlebar?

We are conveniently located in Derrywash Castlebar. Our eircode is F23Y015 and we are also on Google Maps. 

From the old Westport Road (R309): Road L1710 we are on the left,  just after the train crossing. 

From the Ballyhean road (N84): Road L1710 we are on the right, between the school and just before train crossing. 

How long will my car be there?

We aim to have vehicles returned to you on the same day as your appointment. On the rare occasion - if we are facing any delays we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you or the reason and expected return time. 

When will I drop off my car?

Please leave your vehicle to the garage on your scheduled appointment date for 9am, this ensures there are no delays with getting your vehicle seen to and repaired in a timely manner. 

Do you take breakdowns?

We are currently taking breakdowns for existing customers only. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and card.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday 9am to 6p,. We are closed for lunch from 1.30-2pm daily
